Happily to the school
Question: I’m short and my face is full of pimples. My classmates always laugh at me. I don’t want to go to school anymore!

Answer:

Let’s look at your problem in three different aspects:

1, being short and having a face full of pimples

You’re a teenager, this means that your height and appearance is going through a change. What you see could be temporary, so face it positively and I’m sure everything will be better soon.

Your height is pretty much determined by your gene but a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle (with exercise and sufficient sleep) could also help.

On the other hand, appearance isn’t as important to our heart’s attitude.

Pimples are related to your body condition, diet (consume lesser oily food), exercise, rest, and cleanliness of your skin (proper usage and method to clean your skin). When you’re working to improve these, it’ll be better soon.

No matter if it’s your height or your skin’s problem, there’s always a way to improve it when we seek out proper medication aid.

2, being laughed at

It is of course, not a good thing to laugh at your friends. Your classmates were only judging you by your appearance like the other people. However, it is very superficial to judge a person by the way they look. I hope that you could being out the wisdom and courage in you to reject the bad attitude from your classmates. If you pay no attention to their words and laughter, they’ll soon find that it’s not funny making fun of you anymore. Otherwise, you could always inform your teacher or close friends about your condition so that they can help you in this.

3, not wanting to go to school

Please never punish yourself with other people’s mistakes and wrong doings. Height and appearance is determined by your inherited gene, instead we should be doing better things to “change ourselves” for the better. Actually, there are also quite a number of noble person that are short too. Napoleon is a good example. As for the problem of skin, the tradition has even been broken by Obama himself. Why should we make ourselves suffer with problems like this? What’s important is we learn how to be a proper person, an educated person with a proper attitude and character. This is what we should be doing. If we never learn to improve ourselves, then we can never move forward. Hence, why should you stop yourself from going to school?

HanXin, a famous general of China was once laughed and teased by the people. However, he never gave up. He worked his way up as he thought that when he could train himself to endure the things most people can’t, he’d become a great person. In the end, he succeeded and became a great general who’s name is still remembered now. On the other hand, those who laughed and teased at him were never to be found on the history. No one knows who they are, but HanXin had become famous instead. This is a great training. Improving your appearance may not stop people from saying bad things. You could only stop them by going to school happily, learning to improve yourself and claiming a terrific achievement! Fight well!
