Leaf
There’s a piece of leaf living on the great tree
Ever since it was born
It’s been imagining
Imagining the world behind all these leaves around it

One day
The leaf was blown by a strong wind
It hears a crack out of a sudden
At last the leaf is set free
Leaving its lovely home

Finally
It could see the world out there

All the scenery it could see
Waterfalls
Rivers
And the eagles in the sky
Blue sky, white clouds
It is such a big world out here
How lovely it is

The leaf never cared
Of how long it could fly
The only thing it knows
Is that it’s having the greatest moment of its life!

As the wind blows softly
The leaf flew further and further
Far enough to reach to where it’d like to visit

And in the end
The wind stopped
The leaf glided slowly and landed on Earth
A group of unfamiliar trees were staring
The leaf closed its eyes and smiled
Awaiting
To be back to the Earth

When the storm begins
It was a great funeral
Soon
The leaf shed its green coat
And slept quietly in the arms of Earth
Continuing on the next mission, of gratitude

Thank you, great tree
Thank you, dear wind
And for the lovely world
I love you
