Guidance on Future
‘What kind of future do I envision myself? What kind of self am I trying to develop? What do I want to accomplish in my life?’ The thing is to paint this vision of your life in your heart as specifically as possible. That ‘painting’ itself becomes the design of your future. The power of the heart enables us to actually create with our lives a wonderful masterpiece in accordance with that design. – Daisaku Ikeda –
We must become the masters of our mind and in control of our thoughts; with this, our future will be within our grasp. At times, we may feel confused that even though we have aspirations for the future or ideals towards work; the future appears bleak thus resulting in the fear of making the wrong decisions which may affect our lives greatly. Is the future really that daunting? No. Whenever we have a dream or an aspiration for our future, we should start taking action and advance without doubt. By overcoming each and every obstacle and problems, a clearer vision of our life will emerge before us. Let us paint our ideal life in our hearts and initiate actions to realize it.
