To my dearest princesses and princes,

Heartiest congratulations on your celebration of 20th Anniversary of Junior Division Day!
My best regards to you - princes, princesses and also not forgetting to the PICs who has
taken great care of you all.

July 3rd is SGI Mentor & Disciple Day. A day where the oneness of mentor & disciple spirit
that will be forever remembered by our young successors. July 3rd is also a day where
true Buddhism won great victory. You are by nature - upright, youthful and full of vitality,
therefore you should be like our mentor who possesses this spirit to win no matter what.

In pertaining to “Youthful Victory” philosophy, SGI President Ikeda has the following
advices:
1. Never avoid hardships


When you encounter unfavourable situations, you must never be discouraged.
As you are all future leaders please do not lose out to the present wo ries and
difficulties.


2. Continue to advance with courage


No matter what difficulties you may be facing, take the first step forward
confidently with this courageous spirit.


3. Cultivate a caring heart


Treat your friends with kindness and cherish your parents.


4. Achieve victory through faith


Since all of you have taken faith in this greatest Buddhism at a very young age,
nothing can be stronger or more valuable than your noble youth mission.

SGI President Ikeda, Mrs. Ikeda and all your PICs will continue to pray for your good
health and growth. You must study hard to be become outstanding, noble person and
shower happiness to your parents.
