9. Having Four Arms
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

1. This is a drawing by a boy from kindergarten. Being the eldest son in the family, he was always called to help out at his family’s mart.

2. When he was asked about that four arms that he drew on the drawing, all he said was: “How could I finish my work with only two hands? If I work slowly mommy would start saying that I’m lazy. I need four arms not only to finish my work, but to defeat my mom and escape from her grip.”

3. The lines in the drawing are packed and loose at the same time. The short lines appeared to be strong. This shows that he kept his anger to himself, and expressed it in terms of lines in his drawing.

4. Already facing “pressure from work” at his age. Shouldn’t he be having fun just like any other ordinary kid does? If only the work could be done in a way similar to that of a game. This could minimize the chance that he gets the “pressure”, and could even minimizes the chances of him quarrelling with his mother.

5. The aspect we should focus on is how we treat our kids. If we’re treating our kids negatively, then for sure they’ll not be happy. Well, maybe sometimes we’re forced to ask our kids to help us out when life is hard. But that doesn’t mean we can’t provide them happiness. All that matters is how we show our love to them in different ways and methods.
