Polgar’s Experiment
The Polgar’s experiment was set up by a Hungary psychologist together with his wife. Their family has brought up 3 international chess master. There was a stunning “Polgar’s Myth” during the 80s and 90s’ Chess World.

But in this very process, they were quelled by the society and even the country. Maintaining for over 30 years, their magnificent aspiration was still the same. These parents’ could be that courageous, just because they take the responsible of educating their children as a great duty. Their idea of educating includes: Every kid is a genius, parents are the best teachers, let the children play seriously, etc.

Let the children play seriously

Playful is just an inborn characteristic in every kid, they’re just expressing their heart of innocence. But we shouldn’t just let them play aimlessly, and just for the sake of searching happiness. What we should be doing is let them learn through what they play, and to train up their abilities. Feed their curiosity, let them have a new aim everyday, and don’t let academic be the only limit.

President Ikeda’s guidance:

Being able to live with kids is such a precious experience for our growth. Please do not neglect this origin. Everyday, kids have “new growth”, getting “new achievements”. These “growth and achievements” would be a “new discover” to us, giving us “new happiness”.
