Long ago, there was a planet named “world” and there was a country named Child land. The people in this country are all children. Their life is easy and free, with no worries and sadness. Whenever they got tired, they’ll sleep; whenever they got hungry, they’ll eat. Abundant of foods await them. And there is a very special part in these children; they will never grow up.

There are two brothers living in this Child land, elder brother is called Hope and the little brother is called Bravery.

One day, little brother had popped a question, “Brother, how is the world out side look like? Are there all children out there like us?”

“I don’t know. If I have the chance, I hope I can travel out of this country. I want to look with my own eyes how big the world is.”

“Really? I want to go too.” answered Bravery eagerly.

“Bravery, why don’t we go for an adventure out of this country? I’ll go to the west and you’ll go to the east. A month later, we’ll meet back here and shared what we have seen. How was it?” asked Hope.

“That’s great!”

So, after packing up, they said a very fond farewell to the children in the city and begin their journey without knowing what is waiting ahead them.

After a few days of walk, Hope came to a country named “Society”.

“Why are all the people here so tall? Their face is also very different… not like the children in my place, no laughter, and their eyes don’t have the sparkle like we have…” he asked himself.

In Society, the adults stay here. In this place, food is not enough like in Child land, so people always felt miserable and worried on food and life; some even do something bad to other people in order to get what they want. The system that they use here is money trading. This had bother Hope a lot because everything seems so odd.

Then he arrived at the city where he saw a man that is very dirty and sloppy. His face is very depressed. Then he gave a wired glare at Hope and shouted, “What’re you looking at, kid! Never see a beggar before!”

“Sir, what’s a beggar?” he asked.

“Are you teasing me? Are you making fun of me?”

“No! No! I’m from Child land. I… I never seen a beg… beggar…”

“Oh. Are the people from where you are rich and has lots of money?

“Money? What is money? Can it be eaten?

“You don’t know what money is? You stupid kid! How you all survive without money?

“Food. Things that can fill our stomach and make us full.”

“You think I’m stupid! Who doesn’t know that food can make us full! How can we get food without money! Will it fall from the sky?” the beggar scolded.

“Ho..ho…It has been few days since my last meal…and now a kid come and make a fool out of me… My life’s miserable.

“You haven’t eaten for days? I think you should be very hungry.” The he took out all the food that he had brought and gave it to the beggar.

When the beggar saw the food he got so happy, he grasp the food and eat like there is no tomorrow.

“Eat slowly, there is enough food. Yes! By the way, my name is Hope, what’s yours?

“My… my name is vanity.

At this very moment, the king of Society passed through with pride with his royal guards.

“Wow, who’s this? He looks flashy.

“You all don’t have King in Child land?

“What’s a King?”

“He is the King. The one that have all the people to serve him! The highest ruler with lot’s of power! He has everything that he wanted. Best meal and tons of money that cannot be finish. He can do whatever he wants; eats, sleeps.”

“What is power? And what is money? In my place, we can also get whatever we want and do whatever we want, would that make us all King?”

“No! How can I explain to you! If you have power, then you will be the highest ruler! Nobody can harm you and all must do as you say! It’s very useful you know. Like what you seen just now, how flashy.”

“So, what is money?”

“Well, money is something that can let your life be more comfortable. It can make you the most powerful man! It can give you whatever you want! It is something that cast a spell and makes people crazy for it! Look at me now, all because I don’t have money!

“But…”

“Don’t say but! You’re just a kid, what you know!”

“It seems that all the things here make me very confused, I better go…”

So, Hope had decided to leave this foul place at once, he felt that he should just stay in Child land. He wanted to get home as fast as he can to meet his brother and tell him all the things he saw.

As he is about to leave, he realized that all the food had given to vanity. Then he saw a food stall and he walked to it.

“Wow, that’s delicious.”

“Do you have any money?”

“Money again? No, I don’t have.”

“Little vandal! You dare to take my food when you have no money to pay1 Get out of here!” without any words he pushes Hope to the ground.

“In this Society, money is everything! I really don’t understand!”

“Right, get away from here!” shouted another man.

Hope felt very afraid,” Why they treat me like that?”

At this time, vanity walk over to Hope, “Come on kid, I still have food left, it can last for days for the two us.”

“Oh, but I want to go back to my country.”

“How ‘bout this, I’ll follow you back to your country. I want to have a look on the country that you told me about.”

“Good. I think my brother will be glad to meet you.”

So, the kind Hope brought along vanity on his way back to his country.

In the other side, Bravery happily reached a country that he had never seen before and people him had never met.

This country is called “Motherly love”. All the mothers live here, this is a country that filled love and understanding.

“I have a very strange feeling in me… a feeling that is very safe and full of happiness…Their eyes shine with tender…”

Suddenly, Bravery fell down after tripping on a stone.

“Are you all right?”

“Did anywhere hurt?”

“Quick, bring so medicine!”

All the mothers rush to Bravery and help him to get up, and keep on caring him.

“How warmth… I never have this feeling in Child land.”

Here, mother will tell story to him before he sleeps. Then when he woke up, he have all the delicious breakfast all prepared. Sometimes, mother even brought him out for games and taught him a lot of knowledge. And Bravery live a very happy life in here.

“I have to go home now; I have made a promise with my brother that I will meet him back at my country.”

“Are all the children in your country as cute as you?”

“How ‘bout a few of us follow you back to your country?”

“Really, that’s awesome.”

Hope reach home earlier than Bravery, when he reach Child land, he introduce vanity
to all the children. After vanity have a tour around the city, he had an idea.

“Hope, don’t you think that your country is undeveloped?”

“No, everyone is very happy here.”

“Happy and undeveloped are two different things. Without the money trading system, life has no meaning. Everyone just knows how to play all day.”

“So?”

“First, choose a person to become the King, and then establish the money trading system!”

“If we have King and money, then our life will be better?”

“Believe me, it will be hundred times better than now.”

“So, who will become the King?”

“Of cause it’s you! ‘Cause you have talent! I believe you can help you people to make lots and lots of money! After you become the King, you can establish the Money trading system, and then you can get tax from your people! Ha! Ha! By that time, you will be rich!”

“If we do this, will there be any benefit?”

“Of cause we have! I know more than you because I’m adult! You must trust me and listen to me, I’m sure you can have a better life.”

The next day, Hope gathered all the children and claims he is the King of Child land.
“Why do we need a King?”

“Aren’t our life good now? Why do we have to follow this money system?”

“This is the best solution! I’ve heard that they do it in the world outside! Only this can help us to become rich.”

There are children agree and there are children disagree, so there are two parties in Child land. One of them supported Hope and another objected his plan.

“I’m home.”

At this moment, Bravery is back with a few mothers from Motherly love. But there is something queer.

“Brother, what had happened? Why are everyone grouping together? Eh? But everyone seems to be unhappy? That had happened?”

“Bravery, Listen to me. From today onwards, I’m the King and your life will be happier and fulfilled.”

‘King? King? Why you want to become King? Now I understand, you had been to Society, isn’t it? Mothers from Motherly love had told me everything about that country. Brother, you can’t let them tell you what to do! You must use your wisdom to analyze and accept education that filled with love and kindness.”

“Don’t talk nonsense! Your brother is doing this for your own good! Money is everything! Can you buy food with education?”vanity shouted coming from nowhere.
“What is education? What is wisdom? Where have you been? Tell me quickly.”

“Brother, these are the mothers from Motherly love.”

“I’m Mother of Wisdom. She’s Mother of Love and this is Mother of Kindness.”

“Brother, we need to grow up. If we want to grow up, we need education.”

“What is education?”

“Education is teaching and guiding with heart and patient.”

“So what after that?” asked vanity.

“Then we can achieve happiness!” said Mother of Wisdom.
“Hope, you need bravery, because only we have bravery then we can have hope. At the same time, bravery also needs hope, because we have bravery, then we have hope. And hope and bravery is in all our hearts waiting to be discover. And the only way to discover hope and bravery is through education.”

“What about happiness? If we have education and no money, can we have happiness then?” asked vanity with a face full of disagree.

Mother of Love stands out and said, “Happiness of a person is not measured by how much riches he have. If you’re unlucky, all the riches will disappear at a single moment, just like you now. Happiness will not disappear no matter what difficulty we face in our life, because we can give ourselves a chance to create hope and face it with our bravery.”

Mother of Kindness continues, “Although money glitters and shines but it is cold and have no feelings of love. In the world of vanity, we can’t find happiness. Money is just a pass that made people give each other, so it only stands a part in life, not a person’s purpose of life. Human live to make this world a better place, and let everyone can live a happiness life.”

“Now I understand. If I wan to become a King, I need to lead my people towards the road to happiness because it is my responsibility. I hope a can have education and grow up to become a true human! vanity, I really hope that you can too accept this education of happiness.”

“No! Totally no! I have no hope and bravery to face it anymore. I want to leave this place! I don’t want to go back to Society.” said vanity in grief.

Bravery stepped towards him and help him up, “If you just runaway, nothing is going to change! You have to face it! Come, with the love of mother that can forgive all fault. Let us have education! When we grow up, then we can help Society to build a country of happiness.”

“Right! You have us friend to accompany you!”

“If you have hope, bravery will show! If you have bravery, then your hope will come true! Then we can all have happiness!” said Mother of Wisdom.

“Thank you…” said vanity with tears filled his eyes.

“Prince vanity! Prince vanity!”

“It’s the soldier from Society! Eh? The King of Society had also arrived!”

At this moment, a few soldiers are bringing the King to Child land.

“He is a prince! But how can he become a beggar?” everyone asking the question with doubt in their eyes.

“Father! What had happened?”

“Prince, our country had lost! The army of villain country had attacked to our country!” said the royal guard.

“Son, I don’t know that our country is so weak. When they attacked us, our people and ministers only know how to protect their riches, no one wants to protect their own country. And all of our treasure had been taken. Now all the people live in chaos.”

“Father, don’t worry! We still have our lives and its hope! Now all need is bravery! Father, they had taught me something that is more valuable than money and power! Come, lets begins a new life!”

“Right, the children in child land and Mothers will help you to build a more harmonious world.” said Hope with strength to encourage the King.

Then, Prince vanity turned to the people and explained, “Actually I’m not a beggar and I’m a prince. It is because I wanted to have more riches; I left the castle and wanted to build a bigger and richer country. But I never expect that on the way to search for a bigger land, I had been trapped by soldiers of villain country and become like this. I’m sorry, father!”

“Everything has passed. Nothing is more precious than you coming home.”

“Ha, Ha, Ha! How touching!”

“Ah, is the soldier of villain country!”

“Well, we meet again! Thanks for all the treasures.”

“What are you all doing here!” shouted the prince while standing up.

“What else, we want money! We want to rule the whole world! You all will have better life under the realms of villain country!”

“We don’t have the treasure that you want in here! You can’t take away our treasure!” said Bravery.

“Oh? What is that?”

“It’s the treasure of the heart!” answered Mother of Wisdom.

“Oh? I want treasure of the heart too! Anything to do with treasure, I want them too! I will kill you all to get it!”

Then the soldier of villain country and Society fought against each other but the strength of Society is very weak. All mother rushed to protect their children.

Right at this very moment, “Prince of Fatherly love had arrived!”

It’s the Prince from Fatherly love bringing his army to protect the people.
With strength and bravery, army of Fatherly love had successfully defeated the soldiers of villain country.

“Peace!” everyone shouted.

“Thanks you all.”

“No need to thank me, it’s our responsibilities to protect you all. We have tracked the movement of villain country for a long time now. We never imagine that they can do such things. Luckily we arrive just in time. Are you all okay?” said the prince frankly.

“We are all right!”

“Now, let’s build a better place! Build a world that has no sorrow and have only peace. Father, mother, and children work together to build a happy family, then we can create a happy and harmonious society, make the world a perfect world!”

So, all the father and mother had come to Child land to teach and guide their children with patient. The children grow up and Child land had slowly developed. They also went to Society and spread the seeds of happiness. They had made that place a better place which is the heaven that everyone can have happiness.

Prince vanity had also changed his name to “Continuing develop”, where he use the true heart to continuing developing Society.

From that day forward, World didn’t separate into Child land, Motherly love, Fatherly love and Society, They had build a new Country called Country of Happiness.

Parents had work so hard to earn money so that we can have treasures; it allows us to have good education and the skills to survive, it’s the treasure of body. But, if we don’t have the Treasure of Spirit, which is the strength that made our lives, filled with light and color, we can have all the riches and skill, without a good and respectful personality, we still can’t function properly; it is still very hard to build a happiness life.

Thus, all parents please teach your children to gain the treasure of spirit in their lives. With that children can become open and have great personalities, which are why we need parents. In other words, even if our parents is just life a simple life, with their spirit to struggle and win in everyday life can still touch their children, helping them to build up their own treasure of heart.

Children are the future of the society, future of the world, the future of mankind! The purpose of education is for them to have a life that abundant with happiness.
